If you have had the pleasure of visiting a traditional bathhouse (jjimjilbang) in South Korea, you will surely remember seeing a collection of baths, saunas and spas all under one roof. You may also remember seeing a scrub corner for a full-body exfoliation where dead skin is sloughed off in oddly satisfying rolls.

This full-body exfoliation traditional scrub treatment is called, Seshin, and it’s the key weekly treatment that keeps many South Korean women’s skin young, smooth and radiant. We hear that Kim Kadarshian is fan!

Seshin – what to expect?

Seshin is a traditional Korean exfoliation treatment that is much loved to this day as a weekly treatment. This treatment has been a kept secret of skin beauty in South Korea for maintaining smooth, flawless, and youthful skin. Unique scrubbing pads are used to bring back the glow and radiance to your skin by exfoliating away the top layer of dead skin in visible grey rolls.

The micro dust from external pollution that’s clogging pores is removed to minimise the chance for unwanted microorganisms to grow on the skin while the manual movements stimulate the reproduction of collagen to revitalise your skin, prevents sagging, reduce fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes and discolouration.

This manual scrub efficiently removes visible dead skin cells and encourages skin cell renewal leaving you with the smoothest skin you have ever had. This helps refresh your body and creates the perfect base before a fake tan!

Our Traditional Korean Seshin includes:

  • Pre-treatment luxury soak
  • Traditional Seshin manual scrub
  • Relaxing hair wash + head massage
